UP - Unique Products - is located upstairs at 2038 Magazine Street in the heart New Orleans' Irish Channel. This historic immigrant area on the edge of the Garden District became home for recycling artists Mark Kirk and Heather MacFarlane. This retail showroom, filled with very unique and fun homewares from lighting to furniture, is open Monday through Saturday, 11am - 6 pm CST. Sunday 12 noon - 5pm CST. The artists also undertake commissions and specialty orders. Previous commissions include: Golden Nugget Casino, Las Vegas; MTV Real World House, New Orleans; and various restaurants and venues throughout the United States and Canada. Purchasers include: Museum of Natural History, NYC; Gallery of Southern Folklore, Memphis, TN; American Museum of Folk Art, NYC; National Galleries of Scotland, UK; and various galleries and collectors.
